2–3 names is plenty. Can be direct competitors or just companies whose approach you respect.

Word of mouth, referrals, Google, Instagram, school networks, cold outreach, etc.

Average invoice, average contract, or 'most of my orders are between $X and $Y.'

Different from the main problem above. This is what's in the way, not what you want.
