AI flipped the rubric

In school, the rubric graded the artifact: the essay, the code, the answer. Then AI made artifacts free. So teachers quietly flipped the rubric. The grade moved from the output to the process. Can you show your reasoning? Defend the choices? Catch the machine's mistakes?

Business is living the same flip. A working automation, a drafted email, a generated report. All table stakes now. Anyone can produce output. What's scarce is the judgment layer around it: who reviewed it, what it's allowed to touch, what happens when it's wrong, and whether anyone can trace the decision afterward.

That's the whole Givans Global thesis. We don't sell output. AI already made output cheap. We install the flipped rubric inside your operation: SOPs translated into agent behaviors, human review on every consequential step, a receipt for every action.

The companies that win with AI won't be the ones producing the most artifacts. They'll be the ones whose process deserves the grade.
